You can use this letter template to terminate a rental agreement (lease for an unfurnished or furnished rental) currently in progress.

I will shortly be vacating the furnished apartment of which I am the tenant.
Article 25-8 of the law of 6 July 1989 on the improvement of rental relations states:
"The tenant may terminate the lease at any time, subject to one month's notice,
including when the duration of the lease is reduced to nine months."
This provision therefore applies to my situation, even if certain clauses in the lease differ.
The notice will take effect 1 month after the date of delivery of this letter.
In order to agree on a date to hand over the keys to the property and carry out the move-in inspection together,
I hereby inform you that the move-out is scheduled for [Moving date].
